Chronological examples:
The book of Job is in the time of Genesis.
The books of 1 & 2 Chronicles are during the times of the books of I & II Kings
The books of the major and minor prophets are during the times of I & II Kings. They are mostly prophets to their kings, their people and other nations.
The events in the Book of Esther happen just prior to the time of Ezra and Nehemiah. Mordecai and Esther's courage saved the lives of the Jews during the time of Era and Nehemiah.
The events in the 4 Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John) were happening at the same time.
Paul's letters in the New Testament to the churches were written during the book of Acts during Paul's journeys to the churches.
Fact: There were no chapters and verses in the original scripts of the Bible. Jesus quoted scripture with "It is written... "

Large, Super Large or Giant Print Bibles are easier on the eyes to read, and with the additional space, make it easier for notetaking on the page.
Versions: King James vs. numerous simplified Versions
Parallel the King James version with more simplified versions for clarity.
Audio readings: Audio readings of the Bible help readers to more quickly through the scriptures and can sometimes help the listener to see connections between scripture scenes when moving at a faster pace.
Overviews: Can help readers to better understand the overall context of the scripture within the book that they are reading.
Children's books and videos: Are simplified and can help Bible readers to better understand Bible stories.
Movies - Note some movies depict scripture word for word, others like the "Ten Commandments" movie are a general overviews of Bible scripture stories and not necessarily scripturally accurate in their entirety.
